Mayro Kanning, Manager of Sensory Services for Kroger joined Kroger as a food technologist in 1974. As the scale of Kroger’s manufacturing and corporate brands programs continued to grow, so too, would her knowledge and expertise – from quality assurance and food safety to sensory evaluation, education and training. Her advocacy and promulgation of industry best-practices has had extraordinary influence throughout the Kroger organization and its vast supplier network.
