Brenda Lord, Vice President, Private Brands, CVS Health, has spent the majority of her career in retail -- building brands from strategy and sourcing to design and marketing. She joined CVS Health in 2018 to redefine the growth of Our Brands and is now responsible for the chain's $5 billion store brand portfolio. Early in her career, Brenda worked at Ames Department Stores and Test Rite, a global sourcing company. Before joining CVS Health, she led Staples' store brands business, including merchandising, portfolio and negotiation strategy and international merchandising. She built brands, led large teams, and drove large portfolios from top to bottom with exemplary success. One of her most notable achievements was the partnership and launch of CVS Health by Michael Graves Design. The mobility and bath safety products are ergonomic, customizable, simple, and easy to assemble, and the line was awarded an Innovation By Design citation by Fast Company magazine.
