Pascale Courtemanche is Director of R&D at Plats du Chef within the C.H. Guenther & Son group. She brings two decades of dedicated service to the food industry with an expertise in frozen appetizers, snacks, and soups, and is a driving force behind the growth of the category’s private brand share in Canada and the U.S. Pascale demonstrates a knack for anticipating market trends and has commercialized numerous successful innovative products, while setting industry standards along the way. She averages 10-15 new product introductions annually, many of which are private label. Her expertise extends to the customization of products to reflect clients' needs and, ultimately, the consumer's preferences. As a private brand innovator, Pascale is forward thinking and has championed new sustainable packaging solutions in addition to innovative product offerings. By elimination of e-packaging components as well as switching components from landfill only to recyclable films, the new packaging met consumers desires to be more sustainable and environmentally friendly.
