Jackie Li is Senior Vice President, Private Brands and Global Sourcing with Dollar General. Jackie joined Dollar General as Chief Global Sourcing Officer in November 2018 and was promoted to his current role in 2022. In this role, he is responsible for the company’s overarching global sourcing strategies and has the responsibility of overseeing the company’s private brand business that includes merchandising, sales, marketing, branding and product development. As a private brand innovator, he challenges the status quo, generating innovative ideas to help Dollar General better serve its customers. His customer-centric approach allows him to make genuine connections between Dollar General’s business and customers. He utilizes people, processes, innovation, and technology with team members from 11 countries to ensure each private brand product is relevant to the customer. Jackie sets ambitious goals to ensure the quality of Dollar General’s private brand products and he and his team have launched private brands including OhGood! vitamins, Nature’s Menu petfood, Wild Tropics Suncare, and revamped DG’s Clover Valley offerings.
