Common questions.
Do different member types get different benefits?
No. Manufacturers, brokers, and trade suppliers all receive the same full set of member benefits. Dues are scaled to company type and size; the benefit set is identical across all of them.
How is my dues tier determined?
Manufacturer dues are tailored to the size of the private label business, and the application asks for the information needed to place you in the right tier. Broker dues are set by the geographic market the firm covers, and trade suppliers pay a single flat rate. The PLMA membership team confirms your exact figure during application review.
What if my company has lapsed and wants to rejoin?
Welcome back. Returning companies are always welcome, and the application process is the same. If it's been a while, the membership team will help get you caught up on what's changed since you were last a member.
Are retailers handled through this page?
No. Retailers don't pay dues to participate in PLMA. PLMA highly values its retailer partnerships and has a dedicated team devoted to helping retailers gain value from PLMA. Please contact Suzanne Caputo, Director of Retail Trade Relations, at scaputo@plma.com.
When can I start using my benefits?
As soon as your membership is confirmed and your welcome email arrives, typically within about a week of joining, your Members Only portal access and every other benefit are active.
