Nearly three decades ago, Guido Tremolini, President/Co-Owner, G.S. Gelato, and his wife Simona emigrated to the U.S. from Italy. Within a year and a half, while taking English courses at night, their company -- G.S. Gelato -- became the first manufacturer in the U.S. to receive approval from the FDA and Department of Agriculture to use authentic Italian equipment. Guido and his R&D team are on the cutting edge of innovation, developing new formulations with the latest ingredients for their customers. Their formulations of flavors with coconut milk, almond milk, cashew milk and oat milk were already in full production when plant-based was just beginning to go mainstream. He uses his culinary expertise and heritage to marry time-honored tradition with cutting edge innovation in private label.
