Cub Foods is starting its own online pickup and delivery services.
The Minnesota based company has been working with Instacart to handle its e-commerce customers but as demand has increased, the chain is focusing on plans to accelerate its own delivery service.
While anyone can shop on Cub's online platform, shoppers are encouraged to enroll in its customer loyalty program, My Cub Rewards, to be able to qualify for the same benefits shopping online as they would inside its stores.
Delivery orders by customers with a minimum purchase of $50 and a linked rewards account will be given a discount fee of $9.99. Customers who pick up orders will pay a fee of $1.99 or free with rewards account and a $50 minimum purchase.
