Peter Berlinski started his career as editor of Restaurant Business, and co-founder of the Women’s Foodservice Forum. He joined Private Label & Private Label International magazines as Editor-in-Chief in the mid-1990s. His prolific editorial and journalistic endeavors chronicled a period of dynamic expansion of retailer brands reportage over the ensuing years up until his retirement in 2013. Peter strongly felt that not only the CEOs but the individual women and men behind the success of the private label industry deserved to have their stories told and remembered. In 2005, he brought forward the idea of creating a Private Label Industry Hall of Fame and, with PLMA, he became a principal force in turning the concept into a reality in 2006.
