Clay Dockery, Vice President, Private Label and Co-Manufacturing of Massimo Zanetti Beverage USA, Inc. began his CPG career on the branded side before moving over to the private label industry where he shepherded the creation and launch of private label finished goods within a strictly ingredients-focused international company. He has spent more than a decade in the private label coffee industry, championing exposure and minimizing risk for private brands in the commodity category. In addition, in an industry where many suppliers have limited or no access to data, Clay has been an advocate for private brands and worked closely with Circana to provide the PLMA membership with a key data dashboard across all CPG categories. Clay has demonstrated his relentless dedication to the private label industry during his volunteer service with PLMA as a director for 12 years. As chairperson during the challenging COVID-19 pandemic, he worked closely with the executives in the association to ensure that the membership continued to get valuable support.
