Sam’s Club to Air First Super Bowl Commercial

When millions of viewers are watching the Cincinnati Bengals and the Los Angeles Rams on Super Bowl Sunday, they will also see Sam’s Club Super Bowl commercial debut.

The 30-second spot will feature actor Kevin Hart and will highlight its VIP Experience. The ad will focus on what the retailer calls its “VIP-worthy” experience. This includes their Scan and Go feature, which debuted in 2019, and allows customers to skip the checkout line. In addition, the retailer teased it will “carry the VIP theme into game day” and give “fans a chance to score like a VIP,” but details on how this will play out are still unclear.

The 30-second commercial will air at the two-minute warning in the fourth quarter.

Sam’s Club parent company, Wal-Mart, which has had some prominent Super Bowl commercials of its own in previous years, has not yet announced its ad plans for this year’s game.
