John Farris
John Farris, Chairman, American Home Foods, Inc.
John began his private label career in 1961 when he joined a startup company named Presto Products, which sold the first-ever private label plastic food wrap, followed by plastic sandwich bags and more. In 1982, John met Pete Clapp, owner of Creative Products, an aerosol cooking spray company. John and his team began selling the first ever private label cooking spray to the supermarket industry. Today, John’s team runs American Home Foods, selling private label cooking sprays and aerosol products to supermarkets, clubs and wholesalers throughout the country. John is presently semi-retired from his over 60-year career in the private label industry and now serves as Chairman of American Home Foods. The company is run by long-time food industry Executive, Will Feeney and joined by Mark Lofthouse, and his son’s Tom and Chris Farris. John also is a founding owner of startup company Custom Baking Products, LLC
