7-Eleven has launched new store brand foods and beverages. Selections include 7-Select Meat & Cheese Deli Stacks, which come in Colby Jack or Pepper Jack with Salami. Another new item is 7-Select fresh-squeezed bottled juices in the flavors of Citrus Berry Punch and Orange Pineapple.

Whole Foods Market has opened the application process for its 2024 Local and Emerging Accelerator Program (LEAP). It seeks 10 innovative food brands not yet sold in Whole Foods Market stores to join the program’s Early Growth cohort.

Selected participants for the Early Growth cohort will undergo a 12-week educational curriculum, and, once complete, will be considered for placement on the grocer’s shelves in their home city or area. They will also be eligible to be considered for a $25,000 equity investment from a donor-advised fund managed by the Austin Community Foundation.

PetSmart has expanded its Arcadia Trail private label line with new LED and glow-in-the-dark items. New products include an LED Ultimate Safety Dog Harness and Dog Collar, and Glow-in-the-Dark Tug Rope Toy.

There are also new items to help pets beat the heat, such as the Sun Shade Dog Bed, LED Cooling Dog Harness and Packable Microfiber Towel.

“Summer is a great time to get outdoors and make memories with our pets, and we know pet parents want products that will help them do so safely and comfortably," James Elasky, SVP of merchandising and chief merchant at PetSmart, said in a statement. "This year's Arcadia Trail collection seamlessly blends durability, functionality, and affordability to empower pet parents and their dogs to explore with confidence – whether in their neighborhood or on a big adventure."
