PROGRAM LOCATION

All classes for PLMA’s Executive Education Program will be held at the Campion Study Center, 5252 Cardinal Avenue, Philadelphia, PA on the campus of Saint Joseph’s University.  The President's Lounge and Doyle South are located on the 2nd floor of Campion. Parking on campus is on the Cardinal  Avenue lot off City Avenue. There is one entrance which faces the Science Center and the Perch. Parking is available at the back of the building. HOTEL INFORMATION

The Hilton Philadelphia is just a few blocks from campus and is located at 4200 City Avenue. Hotel check-in starts Monday 6/10 at 3:00pm; check-out on Wednesday 6/12 is at noon. City Avenue forms the western boundary of the City of Philadelphia and is easy to reach by car or taxi:
•    City Avenue Exit off Interstate 76
•    3 miles from Amtrak’s 30th Street Station
•    12 miles (20 min.) from the Philadelphia International Airport

HOTEL PARKING 
Rates for self-parking at the hotel up to 4 hours $7; up to 8 hours $8, up to 12 hours $10 and up to 24 hours $13. Valet parking, with unlimited in and out access is available at a rate of $15/night. On the University campus parking is available at Campion Study Center at no charge.

TRANSPORTATION

FROM PHILADELPHIA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT OR AMTRAK 30TH STREET STATION
The Hilton does not operate a dedicated shuttle to and from the airport. Taxi service, however, is available at both the airport and at the train station. Details and driving directions are provided on the maps. At the close of the program, transportation to the airport or train station is the attendee’s responsibility. The best options are Uber or Lyft.

SHUTTLE SERVICE BETWEEN THE HOTEL & SAINT JOSEPH’S UNIVERSITY
PLMA will operate shuttle bus service from the Hilton Philadelphia City Avenue to the Saint Joseph’s University campus. Tuesday, the shuttle bus will leave the Hilton at 7:30 am sharp; the bus will return students to the Hilton at the conclusion of the store tours. Wednesday, participants should check out of the Hilton and bring your luggage with you; the shuttle will leave the Hilton at 7:30 am sharp and will not return to the hotel. If you are driving the program begins at 8:00 am (hotel check out is by noon). On Wednesday, at the conclusion of the program transportation to the airport or train station the best options are Uber or Lyft; car service can be arranged with Maxwell’s Car Service (610) 896-5100.
 

PROGRAM REGISTRATION AND BADGE PICKUP

REGISTRATION CLOSES WEDNESDAY, JUNE 5

Badge pickup opens at 8 AM, Tuesday, on Saint Joseph’s University campus in the lobby of Campion Study Center. A PLMA staff member will provide you with your badge.

MEALS

Prior to the start of classes each day continental breakfast is provided at Campion Study Center. Lunch and snacks are provided during scheduled breaks in the program. A group dinner, at the Hilton Philadelphia City Avenue, is scheduled for Tuesday evening. Please advise us in advance of any dietary restriction or food allergies.

WEATHER AND DRESS

Attire for all functions and classroom sessions is casual. June in Philadelphia can be warm & humid, with daytime temperatures averaging in the 80s, and evening temperatures in the low to mid-60s. Lightweight clothing is best for most activities; come prepared for the possibility of showers; bring a sweater or light jacket for cooler evenings. Air-conditioned classrooms may also be chilly to some.

CANCELLATION

To cancel your registration and qualify for a full refund of your fee, your request must be made in writing to PLMA at least 10 Business days prior to the event. Requests for cancellation of your registration and a refund that are received in writing after that date will receive a 50% refund. However, no refunds will be made for any registration cancellation that is requested on the Friday prior to the event.
