PLMA International Online “World of Private Label”

For more than thirty-five years, PLMA’s annual “World of Private Label” International Trade Show has brought retailers together with manufacturers to help them find new products, make new contacts, and discover new ideas that will help their private label programs succeed and grow.

Today, the need for new products, contacts and ideas is greater than ever. Private label market share in Europe is nearly 40% or more in eight countries and consumer acceptance of retailer brands has never been higher. But something dramatically changed in 2020: The crisis has made it impossible for manufacturers and retailers to meet at PLMA’s annual “World of Private Label” in Amsterdam. PLMA is filling the gap by launching the Online “World of Private Label”, to allow for manufacturers and retailers to continue business growth. Not in Amsterdam, but in the cloud, the show will be accessible from anywhere. All you need is a good internet connection and a computer with webcam and speakers, which is standard equipment for every company.

Held from 1-4 December, the 2020 Online “World of Private Label” is divided into designated product category show days, to keep participation efficient for exhibitors and buyers. The full category schedule can be found here.

PLMA Live! Presents Private Label Week

The Private Label Manufacturers Association is pleased to announce a new and unprecedented virtual event. Retailers and private label manufacturers will have the opportunity to interact and work together via live video meetings and chat communication tools using PLMA’s own digital platform.

Over the course of five days, with each day dedicated to a different group of product categories, the event will feature online exhibits and private virtual meetings where retail buyers can search for products and network live with store brands suppliers.

Concurrent with Private Label Week, PLMA Live!, PLMA’s industry news and information platform, will deliver five days of dedicated online programming consisting of video reports on major retailing and product trends, together with category-specific content, interviews with industry leaders, and a special series of presentations by top speakers and private label experts.
